Buyers must be a MD resident with a valid MD drivers license, 18 years or older, and be able to obtain full coverage car insurance. You must have at least 5 personal references with phone #'s, addresses etc. All sales require at least $800 as the minimum down payment plus taxes and tags. NO CHECKS! The down payment depends on the vehicle purchase price. Payments average $100 Bi-weekly for between one and two years depending on vehicle blue book price. There are no credit checks, no employment verification no extra hidden fees. If you have no credit or bad credit, financing a vehicle at Gold Star Cars will re-establish your credit as long as you make the agreed payments on time!
In general, when you buy a vehicle you are held responsible for the payback of balance no matter what: if it breaks down, if it is totaled in an accident (and your insurance won't pay the vehicle off), or even if the vehicle is repossessed! Not only do you have to finish paying your loan, the finance company will report you to the credit agencies if you are late or cannot make the payment period. As long as we hold the note, you can return your vehicle for ANY reason and not owe the balance on your loan. You have alternative choices such as turn the car in and owe nothing, have the car fixed, or compare the cost of another down payment vs the cost of fixing the car. (Picking out another car and putting down another down payment can be cheaper than repairing the car in most cases.)
