Our used car dealership located in Waldorf, Maryland, caters to people who have a need for a reliable used automobile, but cannot pass a credit check.  Gold Star Cars provides in-house financing to meet this special need.  (If you can obtain your own financing, e.g., a bank loan or pay cash, Gold Star Cars  will sell you your vehicle at the wholesale price.)  Our cars typically include models from 1992-2002, have already passed a 101-point Maryland State Inspection Standards Test, and come with a 30-day limited warranty.  Does it all sound too good to be true?  You decide . . .
Buyers must be a MD resident with a valid MD driver’s license, 18 or older, and be able to get full-coverage car insurance.  All sales require a minimum down payment of $800 (depending on the stated Blue Book value).  An average vehicle payment is $100, which must be made every two weeks usually for about a year.  There are no credit checks, no employment verification and no hidden extra fees.  If you have no credit or bad credit, financing a vehicle through Gold Star Cars will (re)establish your credit.

In general, when you buy a used vehicle you are held responsible for the payback on that vehicle, no matter what:  if it breaks down and no longer runs, is totaled in an accident (and your insurance won’t cover the full amount), or even if it is repossessed.  Not only do you have to finish paying your loan, the finance company will report you to credit agencies if you are late or can’t pay.  Here at Gold Star Cars, we operate – in conjunction with our customers – the Gold Star Cars Honor Policy.  Gold Star Cars offers a unique and innovative way for you to buy and keep your vehicle.  We respect the privacy of your credit: good, bad, or lack thereof.  We trust that you will make your payments in a timely manner.  However we realize life is unpredictable and we do what no other dealership in Maryland will do for you and with no reflection on your credit record.  As long as we hold your note, you can return your vehicle for ANY reason and not owe the balance of your loan.  You have alternative choices such as turn the car in and owe nothing, have the car fixed, or compare the cost of another down payment with the cost of fixing the car (picking out a different car and paying the down payment may cost less than having the car repaired).  Gold Star Cars special financing plan allows you to have the option of making your own decisions, not having your decisions made for you.
